Day 13: Please stand by

This post is currently being lovingly crafted from the finest materials, with yarns being spun as you read. (translation: I was too tired to write last night and I’ve got to leave soon, so I’ll write about day 13 and day 14 both once I am in Knighton tonight, where I also get a rest day on Monday)

Not a stock cat photo: He was napping on the porch of my B&B when I left.

  1. Hey Hank you are at the part of the hike where you are tired because you are not consuming enough calories!!! This means that you may eat Cadbury bars every day from now until you come home with no ill effects – just decadent pleasure! (Noticed you looking mighty slim in your recent photo…). Looking forward to days 13 and 14. XOXO

  2. Hi Hank,

Very much enjoying reading your posts. Mostly in bursts (weekends provide the calm time to appreciate). I’ll mention the corn (given I’m from Iowa). The stalks on both sides made me think of how fun it is to play “tag” in a cornfield. And how un-fun it is to de-tassle a cornfield… Either way I was not expecting a corn field to be part of your trail. I guess you never know what the next mile will bring. Which makes a wonderful adventure. Happy Trails! [possible singing subject ;-]
